FPNet intumescent netting was designed to allow heat to escape from power cables, communication cables, cable trays etc., while providing fire protection. In the case of a fire, the intumescent coating expands and closes the openings on the fiberglass mesh. As this occurs additional protection is provided to the cables and enables them to sustain power or communication transmission for an extended period of time.
